What is Ready, Set, Together!?
Ready, Set, Together! with Nia & Nas™ is a preschool entertainment and family activity brand featuring animated stories, original characters, printable resources, and family-friendly activities for children ages 3–6.
Nia, Nas, Max, and Willow turn everyday adventures into opportunities to create, plan, explore, move, solve problems, work as a team, practice friendship, and try again. Episode-related activities help families continue the experience away from the screen.
Who it serves
The website is for parents, legal guardians, caregivers, families, homeschool households, and adults seeking activities and entertainment for children ages 3–6. Adults age 18 or older manage all accounts, email subscriptions, purchases, memberships, downloads, and support requests. Ready, Set, Together! does not offer child accounts.
What makes the brand different
The series centers a joyful Black family and positive, everyday Black childhood experiences while welcoming families from every background. Human children and their talking animal friends learn through entertaining stories—not lectures. Each story can connect to practical offline activities built around creativity, planning, exploration, teamwork, movement, and family connection.
A note from the creator
Hi, I’m LaQuana.
I’m the founder and creator of Ready, Set, Together! and a mother of three sons: two living sons and one angel son. Motherhood has shaped how I see children, families, learning and the everyday moments that bring us closer.
My experience parenting a child with autism has also taught me that children do not all learn, communicate, play or participate in the same way. Families deserve resources that feel encouraging and flexible, not like one more standard they have to meet.
I created Ready, Set, Together! to help families turn screen time into connection time. The stories introduce playful adventures and the activities give children and their grown-ups a reason to keep creating, talking, moving, solving problems and learning together after the episode ends.
It was equally important to me that Black children get to see themselves at the center of joyful, imaginative stories. Nia and Nas are not defined by struggle. They get to be curious, funny, creative, loved and fully themselves. That representation matters and every family is invited to share in their adventures.
My hope is simple: that Ready, Set, Together! helps your family make bright memories, build confidence and discover just how much can happen when we learn and play together.
